It was 900 years ago, the end of Heian Era.
Tairano Kiyomori who once was a conqueror of Japan with great ambition was very active in Seto Inland Sea.
Kiyomori built Itsukushima Shrine, the world heritage site in Miyajima Island, with the present magnificent structure to be worshiped as a Goddess of the sea.

2012, Taiga saga which is the most popular TV program of NHK (national broadcasting service) will pick up his episode.

Kurayado Iroha, also in Miyajima Island, will present you "Kiyomori Cuisine" which the cheff studied from books to know what Kiyomori ate in those days and to reproduce dishes that would be haven by him by cheff's modern skills.
